Story of Ai-Mai-Mi Mousou Catastrophe

The manga club girls Ai, Mai, Mi, and Ponoka-sempai are the focus of the series. This is an adaptation of Choboraunyopomi’s four-panel manga.

When they are not making manga, they may be battling evil invaders who threaten Earth, competing in tournaments, or coping with other ludicrous scenarios.

The humour in this one is far more ludicrous than it was in the previous. Not so much the punchline or absurdity being the joke, as this season abandons any basis in logic in favour of pure madness.

Reviews on Ai Mai Mi Mousou Catastrophe

Review 1

The humour in Mousou Catastrophe is excellent, much like it was in the first season.

Story – No story to speak of. However, since this is a comedy about a slice of life, there shouldn’t be one, baka!

Art: Lovely backgrounds. But the drawing of the characters is a little more brutal.

Since this is a comedy, I didn’t think it really mattered how their fingers were angled or shaped. Instead, I was more concerned in what the characters said and did.

Sound: It is of a high caliber and fits well. The cast’s voices are fantastic, and the music is really good.

Enjoyment: I had a great time watching this anime, and I urge you to have a similar experience. However, there were times when I thought nothing much had transpired, and this slightly bored me.

Apart from that, there is a lot of very fantastic comedy in the film. I also like how each episode ends with a summary line that is just amusing.

I kind of wanted to give it an 8, but in order to do so, the art and consistency need to be somewhat improved. Give it a 7.

Story: The humour in this one is far more ludicrous than it was in the previous. Not so much the punchline or insanity being the joke, as this series abandons any basis in logic in favour of pure madness. It didn’t make me laugh as hard.

Art: Compared to the first season, the design is an improvement. It’s fine, but a portion of the humour in the first is due to how the artwork matches the show’s tone. I don’t believe it’s a big concern, but I might be growing tired from watching the same art form in two different shows.

Sound: Again, no problems to report. There is nothing that happens that calls for extraordinary VA work or a top-notch OST.

Character: The first season’s humour about specific characters doing particular things had a certain amount of self-awareness, but this season seems to overlook those jokes because they are so ludicrous.

This truly didn’t bother me, but it did disappoint me somewhat. I’m not anticipating anything serious because this is not a serious program.

I liked it, but not as much as I liked the first season. Fortunately, this isn’t that long, so I won’t be wasting my time by reading it through. I chuckled a few of times, so that’s okay.

Senyuu

Unexpectedly, a sizable hole formed in the world one day, and demons crawled out, ready for battle. The ruler of the realm issued a command: the hero’s descendants must once more combat evil because it is assumed that the demon king imprisoned by a hero 1,000 years ago should have escaped!

This journey would be anything but routine for Alba, one such would-be hero, given his expanding group of odd and outlandish acquaintances.

Alba will get imprisoned, play dodgeball, go across the country, and, least important of all, discover the truth regarding the hole in the world with juvenile demon Ruki, inappropriately aged Ruldolf, witch Zwei, and a lot of other characters.
