Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized also known as Yowai 5000-nen no Sōshoku Dragon, Iwarenaki Jaryū Nintei. The series is also known as A 5000-year-old Herbivore Dragon Was Recognized as an Evil Dragon For No Reason.
This Japanese light book series is authored by Kaisei Enomoto and illustrated by Shugao. On the website Shsetsuka ni Nar, which publishes user-generated novels, it was serialized online between June 2017 and June 2020.
Later, Kadokawa Shoten bought it, and under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint, they published three volumes between February 2018 and October 2019.
From January 2018 to November 2019, Square Enix‘s shonen manga magazine Monthly Gangan Joker serialised a manga adaptation with artwork by Kichi Muro. Five tank-bon volumes were used to collect it.

Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Anime
A Japanese-Chinese original net (ONA) anime adaptation created by Bilibili and animated by Studio LAN was revealed on November 21, 2021. It debuted on Bilibili on July 30, 2022, and was directed by Liu Siwen.

Storyline of the anime
Reiko, a middle school student, meets a herbivorous dragon who only wants to live a peaceful life. Because Reiko is hell-bent on dying, no matter how hard it tries to convince her otherwise.
Reiko and what she thought to be the strongest “evil dragon” set off on a quest to battle the Demon King’s army under the false presences created by the “evil dragon.”
What happens in the episode of this anime?
In gratitude for saving her community from a Demon Lord, a young orphan named Reiko offers herself as a sacrifice to the 5000-year-old dragon Ravendia. However, Ravendia likes a vegetarian diet and is basically a coward.
He pretends to have eaten Reiko’s soul as a sacrifice after she demands he eat her or else she will kill herself in shame, leading Reiko to believe she is now his pupil.
